The PA/PG4301 pressure transmitter is a Dual Use device (meeting both Commercial and MILSPEC requirements) that is designed to withstand the harsh environment of a marine gas turbine application. It is constructed with all welded stainless steel material. The hermetically sealed electronics gives the PA/PG4301 outstanding reliability in the damp and salt-laden environment experienced by Navy Ships. A key feature of the PA/PG4301 is its fast response to pressure fluctuations, providing time for a control system, such as a GE LM2500 engine, to respond to such dangerous events as compressor surges or stalls. Other key performance characteristics of the PA/PG4301 are:
- Pressure range from 16 psi to 1,500 psi
- Accuracy of +/- 0.10% URL
- Response Time of <7 msec
- Total error band of 0.37% from 32 to 149° F
