The PA/PG4410 is a thin film strain gage transducer that is designed for the applications which require high accuracy, stability and toleration of high temperatures, which are typically found in the oil and gas industry down hole drilling applications. This sensor comes with either a 4 - 20 mA or 0.5 - 5VDC output and comes with a built-in regulator which accepts a wide range of excitation voltages without affecting the output performance-a key to success when installing transducers at various depths within the well hole. The PA/PG4410 is manufactured with an all stainless-steel housing and is hermetically sealed, which enables the unit to withstand external (crush) pressures of up to 10,000 psig. The durability and robust design of the PA/PG4410 makes it an ideal candidate for well head monitoring, well testing, well drilling and other applications within the well hole that require an instrument to operate and meet the high standards required in this harsh environment.
