Training will also include use of the EXJSET programming software for the JEM 1 EXJ register, meter test and calibration, meter maintenance, and troubleshooting meter problems. Training is "hands on" oriented. Training topics can usually be custom tailored to customer's needs. Training typically takes 8 hours.
JEM 10
JEM 10 training will cover an overview of the meter, use of the front panel buttons, identification of PC boards, location of calibration adjustments, and wiring meter inputs and outputs. Training will also include use of the JEMSET programming software for the JEM 10 meter, meter test and calibration, user replaceable/upgradeable options, meter maintenance, and troubleshooting meter problems. Training is "hands on" oriented. Training topics can usually be custom tailored to customer's needs. Training typically takes 8 hours.
JEMSTAR
JEMSTAR training will cover an overview of the meter, use of the front panel buttons, identification of PC boards, location of calibration adjustments, and wiring meter inputs and outputs. Training will also include use of the JEMWARE programming software for the JEMSTAR meter, meter test and calibration, user replaceable/upgradeable options, meter maintenance, and troubleshooting meter problems. Training is "hands on" oriented. Training topics can usually be custom tailored to customer's needs. Training typically takes 8 hours.
DPMS Transducer
DPMS training will cover an overview of the transducer, wiring meter inputs and outputs, use of the DPMSTalk programming software for the DPMS transducer, and checking DPMS calibration. Training is "hands on" oriented. Training topics can usually be custom tailored to customer's needs. Training typically takes 4 hours.
TR 2000
TR-2000 training is recommended at three days in house and this will include Hardware, configuration, and software. It will be both classroom and hand on work it will also include some field examples of faults. Training typically takes 2 days.
ISM
ISM training is recommended at two days in house and will include hardware and configuration set up of the ISM system. Training typically takes 1 day.
Transducers
AMETEK offers a wide variety of transducers for a wide variety of measurement types, in both the Scientific Columbus and Rochester Instrument Systems brands.
Transducers can be provided to allow single or multiple measurement functions by a single transducer, such as combined Watt/Var transducer or Watt/Watthour transducer.
Some of the measurement functions available include AC Current, Voltage, Phase Angle, Watts, Watthours, Vars, Varhours, Temperature and more. Note: Not all of these functions are available from a single transducer.
Training on various analog Transducers could include AC Voltage , Current, Watt, Watthour, Var, Varhour, and transducers with 0 to 1 mAdc outputs and/or 4 to 20 mAdc type outputs.
An analog Power Instrumentation Transducer course typically would take one or two days dependent upon the types of the transducers to be studied, the scope and the depth of the training desired. With advance notice and training curriculum can be customized to accommodate the students present knowledge and the persons training requirements.
Annunciators
The AN-3100C Annunciator is a multi-celled, modular system for monitoring and indicating the conditions at any number of remote or local locations. The unit is multi-microprocessor based. It is field selectable and can be Modicon "Modbus" serial port.
DSM-2000
The DMS-2000 system is a microprocessor based input/output device, which collects both analog and digital data, time and date stamps the data and transmits the processed data over a serial data highway to a data concentrator and host computer. Units have options for all currently recognized digital alarm input signal levels as well as standard analog process signals.
RISCUE
RISCUE is a Window NT based system event monitoring program for use in industrial applications where a medium to large number of digital inputs require continuous monitoring and reporting. The digital events are time-stamped to a resolution of 1 mSec, allowing the user to see which alarm occurred first, printing the alarms in correct chronological order. Several features of the "RISCUE" system are: Disk logging, historical events viewing, Modbus interface, editable legends, nuisance alarm suppression, automatic status reports, flexible print options, diagnostics, group outputs and remote access to event logs. The course typically takes two days.
Meridian Quatro, Meridian Ultra and Meridian
The Meridian family of power quality analyzers are the best tools available for the capture and analysis of voltage and sags and swells, high frequency impulses, harmonics, transients, and all other power distortions. With porable and fixed mount units and a wide range of functonality, we have a monitor ideally suited for any application. The Meridian Ultra is a self-contained instrument, with all configurations, real time display, and post analysis performed directly on the unit.
The Meridian portable power quality monitor is a high performance product with an economical price. The ideal tool for all your power quality needs: sags, swells, outages to IEEE 1159, harmonics to IEC 61000-4-7, flicker to IEC 61000-4-15, transients, energy measurements and high frequency peak detection.
The Meridian Quatro is a powerful portable monitor that provides simultaneous power, harmonic, transient and flicker analysis for single or three-phase circuits.
The Meridian Quatro course is typically 4 hours and the Meridian Ultra and Meridian is typically 2 days.
