JEMStar II High Accuracy Revenue Meter offers a wide variety of features, including the communications offerings that make them an industry leader. The complete communications package includes dual ethernet ports, up to three serial ports (RS232/RS485), optical from the front of the meter, analog modem and a recently upgraded cell modem capability.
We understand it can be complicated to obtain real-time power measurements and share data across multiple parties, so we’ve introduced an upgraded global cell modem. The JEMStar II Meter’s new cell modem allows users from anywhere around the world to access the meter. This capability is available on our ANSI meter making it easier for global teams to remotely access any JEMStar II Meter’s data regardless of where they are located.
In addition to our new global access capability, our cell modems feature multiple enhancements making them the best in the market. We utilize 4G LTE cellular technology so we can utilize wireless communications and support all major carriers. We support access point names (APN) and whitelisted IPs and offer the option of an internal or external antenna depending on your application. With our cell modems securely installed inside, we’ve eliminated the need to install and wire a separate unit.
